Since 1997, the SÜDTIROL GARDENISSIMA has earned its place as the most thrilling and longest giant slalom race in the world, a true must-see for ski enthusiasts. With a 6 km course, a staggering 1,033-meter vertical drop, and 115 gates, each edition promises an adrenaline-packed challenge.
The race kicks off at the Seceda (2,518 m), where two skiers launch side by side on parallel tracks that merge into a single exhilarating descent after 1,500 meters. The finish line awaits at the valley station of the Col Raiser cable car in Selva di Val Gardena (1,485 m), with the fastest racers completing the intense course in in just over 3 minutes.
