Numerous well-known World Cup athletes and ski legends have confirmed their participation in the 24th South Tyrol Gardenissima.
At the race number distribution there will be the opportunity to talk to the athletes, collect autographs and take a photo together.
The following Alpine Ski World Cup athletes have confirmed their participation for the 2022 edition:
Nadia Delago - bronze medallist in downhill at the Olympic Games 2022 in Beijing and freshly crowned Italian downhill champion
Nicol Delago - newly crowned Italian champion in super-G
Franziska Gritsch - Overall winner of the 2021/22 European Cup and newly crowned Austrian downhill champion
Christina Ager - Overall winner of the Super-G European Cup 2021/22
Elisa Platino - Newly crowned Italian Champion in Giant Slalom
Alex Vinatzer - Freshly crowned Italian Champion in Slalom
Christof Innerhofer - Freshly crowned Italian Champion in Super G
Alexander Schmid - Silver medallist in the team competition at the 2022 Olympic Games, freshly crowned German champion in slalom and giant slalom
Simon Jocher - freshly crowned German vice-champion in downhill and super g
Daniel Danklmaier - Newly crowned Austrian downhill champion
Otmar Striedinger - Vice Austrian Champion Super-G and Downhill, 2nd in Downhill in Gardena-Gröden
Daniel Hemetsberger - 3rd in downhill in Kitzbühel
Alex Hofer – Freshly crowned Italian Champion in Giant Slalom
Riccardo Tonetti - Italian Championships 3rd Giant Slalom
Andreas Zampa, Hannes Zingerle
Out of the skiing legends, the following names stand out: Isolde Kostner, Verena Stuffer, Brigitte Obermoser, Daniela Schuster, Andrea Fischbacher, Nine Halme and Paola Magoni as well as Peter Runggaldier, Oskar Delago, Christian Wanninger, Andreas Goldberger (ski jumping).
The autograph session will take place on Saturday, 02.04.2022 at the Cultural Center in Selva Val Gardena (not IMAN Center S. Cristina) between 17.30 - 18.30.
