Südtirol Gardenissima & KIDS 2022 a great SUCCESS!

The fully story or the Südtirol Gardenissima can once again be told. It is a story that is rewritten every year and which already consists of 24 chapters.

It all started as very small event in 1997 which grew into a highly popular festival and became more than just a battle over fractions of seconds.
Due to heavy snowfall over the past few days, the race was postponed to Sunday 3 April 2022, when weather was expected to improve significantly. It was a challenge for race director Giovanni Kasslatter and his team to prepare the participants for the 6-kilometre course from the summit of the Seceda (2,518 m) to the finishing line at the Col Raiser (1,485 m).
The ski race started at 8.30 am against the backdrop of a wonderful winter landscape. Plenty of sunshine and low temperatures (-14°C) provided the perfect conditions for the race.
There are always multiple champions - the organising committee, the crowds of spectators, the 680 participants and of course the winners on the day: Christof Innerhofer (ITA) in the men's and Franziska Gritsch (AUT) in the women's race.
