After intensive discussions and consultations, the organizing committee has decided to postpone the Südtirol Gardenissima from Saturday, 2nd of April to Sunday 3rd of April 2022. The Gardenissima KIDS will take place after the Gardenissima adults.

After having had perfect weather conditions and slopes in Val Gardena for almost the entire winter, unfortunately since yesterday there has been a change in the weather in the Dolomites. A bad weather front has reached us which, according to the various weather models, is expected to last until midday on Saturday 2nd of April 2022. By Sunday, however, the weather is expected to improve considerably and, above all, become much colder.
After intensive discussions and consultations, the organizing committee has decided to postpone the Südtirol Gardenissima from Saturday, 2nd of April to Sunday 3rd of April 2022.
This decision has been taken in order to give all participants the opportunity to enjoy the best possible conditions on the course and, above all, to ensure the greatest possible safety on the route.

As we don't want to see the many children who have signed up for the Gardenissima KIDS sad, it has been decided, with great organizational effort, to hold this on Sunday, 3rd April 2022 as planned, but with a delayed start after the adults Südtirol Gardenissima. The low temperatures expected make us cautiously optimistic in this respect.

The distribution of race numbers and the autograph session will be postponed to Saturday 02.04.2022.

Route reconnaissance: from 13.15 to 13.45
Award ceremony: around 5 pm, immediately after the award ceremony of the Südtirol Gardenissima
In addition to the Seceda and Col Raiser cable cars, it is possible to park in the Ruacia area and take the Gardena Ronda Express (train) up to 8:30 am.

The SKI TEST will take place as planned on Saturday and Sunday.

IMPORTANT: We ask all participants to always have their ski pass with them on race day (in their race suit), otherwise access to the lifts cannot be guaranteed.
