The holiday valley of the Dolomites
The Dolomites, a true spectacle of nature, have been working their unique and extraordinary magic on mountaineers, winter sport enthusiasts and artists
and writers alike. The unique flora and fauna in the Puez-Odle Nature Park, nestled in the western Dolomites, is especially enticing.
Val Gardena sits at the centre of a rocky frame formed by the Sella Massif, the renowned Sassolungo and Odle Group. The Puez-Odle Nature Park stretches across the villages of Ortisei, S. Cristina and Selva Gardena: opened
in 1978, it became part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site listing in 2009 and is named after the summits of the Puez and Odle Groups.
Val Gardena’s skiing carousel is also ideal for families.
You will always have a fun time and there are courses for just about anyone, from beginners to experts. Guaranteed snow, perfect slopes, demanding downhill slopes and a unique scenic view. Ideal conditions for passionate skiers and snowboarders. 500 km of pure fun on slopes around the Sella Group, connected by state of the art lift facilities and on 1220 km of slopes in the 12 surrounding valleys. Snowboarders can go wild with jumps and halfpipes in the dedicated funparks.
